Bio

Sam is a drywaller and a full-time college student. He writes alot.

He's often fond of pulling stunts like putting 'alot' instead of 'a lot' just to see who freaks out about it.

He's studying sociology, psychology, history, anthropology, statistics, humanities, and some other stuff. Presently also engaged in theatre arts and public speech. He doesn't have a lot of free time, but since that free time is inevetably pissed away on the internet, he figured he might as well have a livejournal, and document what he does to some extent.

He likes art and writing and nature and science and learning and music and all that shit. Here, enough about him, let's read some quotes from famous dead people who were more interesting than him.

Anyone can do any amount of work provided it isn't the work he is supposed to be doing at the moment.

Drawing on my fine command of the English language, I said nothing.

It requires twenty years for a man to rise from the vegetable state in which he is within his mother's womb, and from the pure animal state which is the lot of his early childhood, to the state when the maturity of reason begins to appear. It has required thirty centuries to learn a little about his structure. It would need eternity to learn something about his soul. It takes an instant to kill him.

Doubt is not an agreeable condition, but certainty is an absurd one.

Bad facts make bad law, and people who write bad laws are in my opinion more dangerous than songwriters who celebrate sexuality.

Without deviation from the norm, 'progress' is not possible.

Consistency is the last refuge of the unimaginative.

A dreamer is one who can only find his way by moonlight, and his punishment is that he sees the dawn before the rest of the world.

Oscar Wilde
